We sell delicious, high quality beef by the 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or whole. Each 1/4 of beef comes Deep Frozen in 2 (two) boxes (~65 lbs each) measuring approximately 17"x17"x11" (that comes out to about 3.7 cubic feet.) This might fit in a LARGE refrigerator freezer if it is mostly empty. The 1/8 orders will be a mixed quarter (approximately 65 lbs.) An example quarter (your order will vary depending on animal size, characteristics and your processing preferences): 5 Chuck Roasts = 17.5 lbs 3 Sirloin Steaks = 5 lbs 2 T-bone Steaks = 3 lbs 4 Rib Eye = 5 lbs 8 Round Steaks = 10.5 lbs 1 Arm Roast = 4 lbs 3 Porterhouse Steaks = 5 lbs 3 Sirloin Tip = 4 lbs 1 Rump Roast = 5 lbs 1 Soup bones = 3.5 lbs 2 liver = 1.5 lbs 71 hamburger = 71 lbs Total weight = 135 lbs @ Approximately $4.50/lb* = $607.00 The meat is cut based on a "cutting order". Once an order is placed, we will guide you through the process. You can specify preference on how you want your beef to be packaged. You will be asked questions like:
Each cut is packaged in clear plastic wrap, labeled and sealed. This meat will last for years if it is kept deep-frozen. We have had beef frozen for several years (hidden in the back of our freezer) and it tasted better than other beef bought "fresh" at the supermarket.
