Beef available Year Round
We sell delicious, high quality beef by the 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or whole. Each 1/4 of beef comes Deep Frozen in 2 (two) boxes (~65 lbs each) measuring approximately 17"x17"x11" (that comes out to about 3.7 cubic feet.) This might fit in a LARGE refrigerator freezer if it is mostly empty. The 1/8 orders will be a mixed quarter (approximately 65 lbs.)
An example quarter (your order will vary depending on animal size, characteristics and your processing preferences):

The meat is cut based on a "cutting order". Once an order is placed, we will guide you through the process. You can specify preference on how you want your beef to be packaged. You will be asked questions like:
Do you prefer more roasts, stew meat or steaks?
How many steaks would you like in each package?
How thick do you like your cuts?
What size packages of hamburger would you like?
Would you like to have hamburger patties pre-made?
Would you like some All-Natural-Beef Weiners?
Each cut is packaged in white waxed paper or clear plastic wrap, labeled and sealed. The processing is done at Hoesly's Meats Inc. - 219 Industrial Dr. New Glarus, Wisconsin. They are state inspected and licensed and operate to the highest standards.
This meat will last well over a year if it is kept frozen. We have had beef frozen for several years (hidden in the back of our freezer) and it tasted better than other beef that we bought "fresh" at the supermarket.
